Blossom In Brief

Blossom was born in 2010 as an initiative to the growing need for families looking for a alternative to traditional  education and the importance of learning English in our society.

It is not strange to see children who can fluently speak two or more languages. The underlying explanation to this ability relies on the fact that the first few years of a child’s life are crucial to their brain development. During this time there is important growth of the frontal lobes, which offers an ideal opportunity for neural circuits to be created. These neural circuits will encourage the learning process and development of new languages. Therefore, this is a perfect moment for children to absorb and decode the languages which they are exposed to, in a natural manner. Blossom is a pioneer Centre in teaching English as a second language.

We use a creative-playful-active methodology, based on cooperation, creativity, observation and experimentation. Yet the method is flexible and is adapted to the characteristics of our students: their interests, needs, possibilities and limitations. All the while keeping some core principles: self motivation, building self-esteem…

Parents are an important part of the Centre’s activities. When parents enter their child’s world of play and imagination, the child blossoms with more confidence to explore and learn. So we provide opportunities where parents can learn how to better interact with their little bundles of joy.
